Conexon 2021 Internet Grant


Terms & Conditions

The Conexon Internet Grant program will be annual. Participants can enter multiple stories, however, can only win once.

Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident of the United States.

Employees of Conexon or GoSEMO Fiber, participating advertising and promotion agencies (and members of their immediate family and/or those living in the same household of each such employee) are not eligible.

Applicants must have received fast-fiber internet service from GoSEMO Fiber during 2020.

Description of Prize One: One recipient from Conexon and GoSEMO Fiber will each receive one year of free gigabit-speed internet.

Stories submitted become property of Conexon and GoSEMO Fiber.

Recipient Selection and Announcements

Each recipient is selected after a team of Conexon-selected judges reviews all entries, after the deadline of March 31, 2021. Applicants are judged on how well the entrant articulates how fiber internet has changed their life from an education or professional perspective. The recipient will be announced in Summer 2021.

Permissions

Conexon reserves the right to alter or discontinue this program at any time without notice. All submissions and photographs become the property of Conexon and may be reposted or displayed online, in whole or part, without notification. Conexon shall be entitled to use, alter, or delete submissions for any purpose whatsoever without compensation to applicants.

Grant Information

The Conexon Internet Grant is developed by Conexon, llc, 2001 Grand Blvd., Ste. 700, Kansas City, MO 64108.

There is no fee to apply.

Details of how to enter are available via the Conexon Internet Grant Entry Requirements page. Applicants will be asked to provide their name and contact information so that Conexon can notify the recipient of the results.

Closing date for applications will be March 31, 2021 at 11:59:59pm EST.

After this date no further applications will be permitted. One recipient will be selected from GoSEMO Fiber territory. Recipient will be chosen by panel of judges appointed by Conexon. The recipient will be notified by email and/or letter. If the recipient cannot be contacted or does not claim the grant within 14 days of notification, Conexon reserves the right to withdraw the grant from the recipient and pick a replacement recipient. Conexon and/or GoSEMO Fiber will notify the recipient how the grant will be awarded. The grant is not transferable. The grant recipient agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any Conexon or GoSEMO Fiber publicity material. Any personal data relating to the recipient or any other applicants will be used solely in accordance with current federal and state data protection laws. Conexon’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the grant will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Conexon accepts no responsibility for applications not received for whatever reason. Conexon reserves the right to cancel or change the grant and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the company’s control. Conexon will notify applicants of material changes to the grant program as soon as practicable. This grant and these terms and conditions will be governed by state law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of state.
